A delegation from the College of Medicine visits the State Security Presidency pavilion at the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival
A delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, represented by the University Center for Obesity Research, paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Presidency of State Security at the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in its tenth edition, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, with the aim of strengthening communication between academic institutions and national authorities.
The visit included a field tour, most notably the State Security Presidency pavilion, the Ministry of Interior pavilion, and the festival's cultural pavilion, to learn about the latest security technologies and advanced systems for protecting the homeland, the citizen, and the resident.
This visit comes as a confirmation of the role of the College of Medicine in interacting with major national events and as an embodiment of the principle of integration between the academic and security sectors, which enhances the values of belonging and pride in the nation’s achievements.
